The iconic stand mixer from Kitchen Aid has been highlighted in many colors over the years, but this was the first time it needed to melt like butter! MSFX quickly jumped at the opportunity to model and light the appliance in Cinema 4D and Maya, then simulate a melt in Houdini and render using Octane. This process touched many different programs but was always smooth like our inspiration. The final product was something we are very proud to put our name on and reveal to the world the 2025 Color of the Year, Butter!
